Cobra Administration
Custom Communications, assures that all COBRA and HIPAA requirements are met from the day an employee is hired. We'll send out the initial general notice - and keep up with emerging COBRA requirements - to ensure compliance with the law. We can also help with processing employee elections and waivers, as well as taking the headache out of billing and collections.
Our COBRA services include:
- Produce and send initial notification letters to all employees who become eligible after we begin administration
- Produce and send Qualifying Event Notifications, which include general information about COBRA, an enrollment form, a premium computation form and a HIPAA certificate
- Accept payments directly from the qualified beneficiary
- Work directly with your insurance companies to report eligibility, changes and terminations
- Generate detailed monthly eligibility and premium reports
- Have call center representatives available for COBRA participant questions
